Howell's Mercantile Salsa Chicken Bake

  • 5 Chicken Breast Halves (boneless/skinless)
  • 1 tablespoon Taco Seasoning
  • 1 ½ Cups Howell's Mercantile Fresh Tomato Salsa
  • 1 ½ Cups Shredded Mexican Cheese
  • Optional: Cilantro for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Place chicken breasts in dish.
  1. Sprinkle taco seasoning over chicken breasts. Cover with salsa.
  1. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, or until chicken is done. Remove dish from oven, and top with cheese. Return dish to oven for 2-3 minutes, until cheese is melted.
  2. Optional: top with cilantro
  3. Serving Suggestions: serve with your favorite rice, refried beans & sour cream
